Capturing their newest love: 7 Days old

MOUNT COTTON STUDIO

Capturing a newborn baby in a studio using natural light can be a truly magical experience. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a seven-day-old baby in a studio located in Mount Cotton, Redlands, just outside of Brisbane. The newborn session was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the natural beauty of the baby in a soft and gentle way.

When photographing a newborn, it's important to create a comfortable and relaxing environment for both the baby and the parents. The studio was filled with natural light, which helped to create a calm and soothing atmosphere. The baby was placed on a soft, white blanket, and we used natural poses that allowed the baby to feel comfortable and secure. I worked closely with the parents to ensure that they felt relaxed and at ease during the photo session.

As we captured the baby's delicate features, we used a variety of natural poses to create a sense of depth and texture in the photos. The soft natural light helped to highlight the baby's skin and features, while the gentle shadows added depth and dimension to the images. We also used natural props, such as a delicate flower crown and a soft knitted blanket, to add a touch of sweetness and warmth to the photos.

Throughout the session, we were able to capture a variety of photos that showcased the beauty and innocence of the newborn. From delicate close-ups of the baby's tiny hands and feet, to wide shots that captured the sweetness of the family bond, each photo was a stunning testament to the love and joy of this special moment in time.

Overall, the newborn session was a wonderful opportunity to capture the natural beauty of a seven-day-old baby using natural light. I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to work with this wonderful family, and I look forward to capturing more special moments in the future.
