I love to capture the way you are with your children, the connections you share with them and your relationships together. Moments like these are fleeting past us every day. Capturing your loved ones in this moment, during this stage of your lives, is so unbelievably important.
This beautiful session was taken just around the corner from my home in Mount Cotton. As you can tell by these images, there is more than just "showing up" to a session and taking photos. It takes planning and communication to achieve this beautiful vibe, something I help with from the moment you book with me. Styling, location and the relationship between you and me (your photographer) are the key factors that contribute to creating a natural, nostalgic session, that you will treasure for years to come.
As your family photographer, I aim to provide you with all the right steps to creating the perfect session, and bringing your vision to life. This session in particular was curated with this mum's beautiful girls in mind. She wanted to embrace the pinks and soft whites and creams. We started with mum's dress (happy to say this is a part of my client wardrobe!) and worked the girls outfits around her. We also knew that the location for the session would give us an amazing sunset that would kiss the grassy fields softly as it dropped below the horizon. Mumma brought along some baskets and a butterfly catcher, knowing that these were special items that the girls loved playing with at this very moment in their lives.
