A family session on the beach - Gold Coast, Queensland.

This session was one for the blog. From the moment I met these three, I knew this session would ooze love and connection. Not only was their styling on point, the location we chose for their family session was magical! The colours from the sunset that afternoon married so beautifully with mumma's dress and wow'd us from the moment it start to set. We were surrounded by locals, but that didn't stop this gorgeous family from having fun, dipping their toes in the water and gazing towards waters horizon.

Booking your family session is so exciting. Knowing you will have images to hang on your wall that you will cherish forever is so special. In saying this, it's pretty important that we work together in organising your wardrobe, location and vibe of your session. This is something that I love to help you with, so you and your family are prepared! When choosing a location, it's important to think about your family and what will suits your lifestyle. Are you water people? Or do you love to go bushwalking? What excites your kids when you go on adventures? Are they little explorers or do they like to venture close to home? These are some of the questions I love to ask when getting to know my clients and their families. It's all about capturing you and your loved ones, in the most natural and real way possible!

When it comes to wardrobe, starting with a colour palette is always great. Most often then not, we get mum organised first, then work the rest of the family around her. It is much easier to find kids clothes that marry well with mums patterned dress, then the other way around! Trust me! Providing a style guide really helps my clients get started as well. It provides a great resource for some amazing stores to shop at too! I'll be posting more about styling your family in another blog, so for now, sit back, relax and take a scroll through this beautiful gallery below to get an idea of how preparing for your session is key to nailing the final product!
